Brought to you by BHG.com, here are a few ways to give your kitchen an updated new look!

  1. Add a splash of color! If you have a neutral colored wall, consider adding some red which stimulates the appetite and improves the sense of smell.
  2. Open up your shelves to show off dishes and glasses.
  3. Use some chalkboard paint on a pantry door to create a family message center.
  4. Add an eye-catching chandelier over your kitchen’s island for a hint of glamour.
  5. Install organizers in drawers and stackable shelves in cabinets.
  6. Create a tiled backsplash! Choose a simple 4×4 tile, and alternate with a few accent tiles to make it pop.
  7. Cut the toe-kick off of each corner of a cabinet and add a bun leg in its place so it looks like a freestanding piece.
  8. Paint or stain them to match cabinets.
